These clones are about 40 days old in sunshine mix #4 getting fed GH Nutes in 1 Gal Pot under t5 lighting. I will be flowering under a 600W HPS

I want to top the clones but the nodes are uneven and wanted to know how would the uneven nodes factor in when flower time comes? will the tops be uneven? Should I top them or leave them alone?

If you top, no difference than from seed other than that the two new tops will come from different heights in the stem. Net effect is still the same.
 
I wouldn't top. Flower them now or tie them down. Topping will only delay your harvest ( with no real yield increase ). Just my opinion.
