Topping cola's.

Pic update.

A sizeable difference compared to the other colas you can see. On closer inspection there are now 3 main stems to the cola, I tried to get a pic but it didn't focus properly. Now in 6th week of 8, was a bit worried about the yield on these but looks like they will be ok. The rest of the plant does not appear to have suffered at all, the colas are at the equivalent stage that the other Tangerine are at apart from this cola.

The other 2 colas on a seperate plant I tried to top as part of the experiment have not done anything special, they just repaired themself and carried on where left off. I probably didn't go low enough into the cola to replicate the other cola.

To be honest I am struggling to see a down side to this other than not topping far enough down the cola and having no effect.

I just added 5 blue cheese to flower (2 weeks ago) which I will try again to top at 4 weeks unless someone else can has a plant at 4 weeks into to flower to continue this little experiment. It might be nothing, it might be something but until we try, we never know do we.

Your thoughts kiddiwinkles??
