Topping, FIMming question? To bushy dont know what to do.

Ok I topped my K2 and got 4 main Colas!!!!

FIMming the tops, butttt Shes getting so bushy the fan leaves are covering the bottom nodes where its blocking a lot of valuable lighting.

Can I and If so how many fan leaves can I trim off so the bottom 2 main colas get better lighting?

i remove all under growth

Ok but Im talking about the fan leave blocking the tops of the colas? Ill send a picture tomorrow...

i would not remove fan leaves as my first choice. i would instead tie the top branches down to spread out your canopy and allow better light penetration, i would also agree with pilgram and remove the lower growth (about bottom 1/3 of the plant).

When it starts budding, the weight will naturally open up your canopy. By the time you chop, you'll wonder where all the leaves went. Depending on how tall they get, you might want to strip the bottom 1/3rd where you would normally get popcorn buds
