Picture 1 is a grizzly purple auto, picture 2 is the plant in question a barneys farm pineapple chunk, the question is, should I top all the bud sites, or any more at all?

The reason I ask is because I topped it only once and it seemed to love it, New chutes everywhere and explosive growth, the reason I am unsure is I plan on swithching the lights when the auto is finished(again first photo) I figure I have 2-3 weeks till the grizzly finishes, but I'm not sure if I should try for more tops on the pineapple or just be happy with what she has(roughly 13).... Thanks in advance for the advice✌

I could be wrong but I think I read somewhere that auto-flowers do not respond well to topping. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong as I have never grown autos before. As far as regular plants, I say top to your hearts content until you achieve the desired shape/bushiness of plant that best suits your grow. I would also stop topping a few days to a week before inducing flowering.:leaf:

I would never top the auto, I only added the picture to show what stage it is in as I will be switching the pineapple chunk into 12/12 when the auto finishes, I just wanted to know if you guys thought I would have enough time for it to heal before the auto finishes.

I guess I just asked the question wrong, let me try again

I am switching the photoperiod pineapple chunk plant to flower in around 3 weeks, should I top it at all bud sites or any to improve yield at this stage, or just let it be as it is? Thanks again

auto normally don't take well to topping but if u have to id top 2 budsights evenly across from each other and then give her 3to4 days to heal before topping again

Thanks cowboy, but again, the auto isn't in question, I was asking about the pineapple chunk plant(second picture) the auto is just to show how much time I have left until the light cycle switch for the pineapple chunk, it is a photo period female

depends on how bushy per say you want the plant more you top the bushyier she will get if you want to top all the sight go for but just make sure you give the plant time to heal say 3 to 4 days before topping again.when I top I usually will do 2 at a time and try to keep it even across the canopy

Thanks, that sounds like a plan, I want her to get as bushy as she can, she will be my stand alone photoplant and lots of colas would be great! I'll top away today, and let her veg out for another 3 weeks or so✌
