Topping / Training Help

Hello -

Sorry if this has been posted before (I tried a search, and didn't come up with much) but are there any guides to topping and training your plants on this site - or perhaps does anyone have some insight on the subject? Thanks!

this is my second grow and i topped my plants this time they are looking nice and and even i also tried tying my plant down (FIM) this seemed to work pretty well too without the pain of cutting bits off my babies

if you have the time for it then it makes a big difference i have grown plants standard way and topped and topped gives you way more bud but it stunts the growth time for about a week. outdoors you have plenty of time for this but sometimes time is and issue. F.I.M technique is even better and will really give you a fat harvest. non topped plants are good but for different reasons

TOp all plants its my rule....makes your plants awesome and u will produce more bud....looks sexy tooo....but it does take time if u do it when their really young works the best....first one is 3 and the other is about 6 weeks got 4 tops...i got another one but no pic that i got top happy with its got 9 tops just got done counting its gonna be awesome....cant wait good luck man ...just pinch the new growth on the top between the fan leaves plant will be shocked for a day or so but ull see it perk up in a couple days....have fun

I'm not tok3s but FIM=fuck I missed, it was named by a high times reader and grower who tried to top but he messed up. It's like topping only you leave about 10% of the bud you snip to top. It gives you more colas than regular topping but it takes longer to recover from. I attached a FIMed plant pic....notice all the colas

the FIM is in the FAQ i have topped half my girls and topped the others my topped pants look better more level but my FIM plants look fat 3 wks to harvest so ill let ya know
