Hello all!
So I have found a potential goldmine :leaf: (yes, actual marijuana, verified) growing in my spare lot. It's all in seedling stage growing all over. My plan is to take some cuttings and put root stimulater (any ideas of a good one?), and put them in some cutting starter gel (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Planters-Pride-Gel-2-Root-6-Pack/20612991) (I don't know if that's a good one or not, input appreciated). Until I get my grow room set up I was wondering if I could put my cuttings in something like this (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Hydrofarm-2-Jump-Start-Grow-Light-System/17164785).

Anyways, onto grow room itself. We have a large crawl space (almost basement sized and very well maintained). It's about 4.5 ft tall, has all electrical set up and everything down there. I was thinking of building a 6'wx4'lx4t self enclosed room out of some thicker plywood type material. I want to grow 5-6 plants, is that enough space? I would paint the inside with KILZ for reflection, and for sure make sure that it is air tight. I need some suggestions on lighting, ventilation, ect. I will be using soil since this is my first time trying (nutrient suggestions?) as for the in and out take for ventalilation, since it's in a crawl space can I just cut two holes in the sides with the fan by one side? Or does it have to go out of the house? (there is a window down there too). Any ideas on how to make the door for this so it is still air tight?

Any kind of input is GREATLY appreciated- thank you!

If they are seedlings you don't need to add any root stimulants, especially rooting hormones. I would be very cautious as to what I put on them. Obviously you don't know what strain they are or if they are sativa or indica so there is no way to know how tall they will tend to get and 4.5' is not a lot of room; you have to allow for lighting and space between the top of the plants and the light. So, you might be better off to just move them somewhere else outside and do a guerrilla grow.

I was just thinking that. Now I'm looking into the grow tent idea- was looking at this one (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hydroponic-Grow-Growing-Tent-Box-Room-Greenhouse-System-Mylar-4-x-4-x-68-/350738407547?) and this one (http://www.gorillagrowtent.com/product/grow-tent-4-x-4-grow-tent-review/). I know the Gorilla one is better, but trying not to overload on the money situation. How many plants do you think that size would be able to hold? I'm thinking that this strain is more sativa...the leaves are longer and more thin (attatched pic)
After picking out a tent (that's the size I want), I need to know EVERYTHING I need to purchase to get started. Lighting for that size tent (MH preferred), and how the intake and exhaust work and what I would need for those, temperature/humidity control, and a light timer. I'm not set on having a huge yield, this is just a hobby thing. I just want it to be as good of quality as possible. I was thinking of putting the tent in our shed outside (we live in IL), so I don't know how I would control the temperature out there. Could also do it in another part of the house.

I wish I could do it that way...but the spare lot that I have is at my lakehouse in MI so I'm sure someone else will find it and take it for themselves. I have to transport it back home, and we don't have very much outdoor privacy and the area we live in is right in the middle of an army training base so they control all the land that would be available to do it that way =( That's why I need to go indoors or in my shed outside if that's a feasible option.

It grows all over a lot on west coast but all across the north and in Michigan. I wouldn't bet the farm on it being weed give it three or four weeks and you will know for sure when its got yellows flowers growing on it. I could be wrong but I have seen a lot of those plants and the leaf in your pic looks more like it than weed

Thanks guys...I was starting to question it too by the way it is growing. I had a good friend that grows tell me that it was definitely mj, and I assumed he was right as the guy that lives next to the lot is a BIG smoker and I'm assuming growing his own in his lot-thought there may have been crossover. Oh well. If it's still there in a couple weeks I'll look at it again.
