I thought that with it being an auto, the light didn't matter so much....? It'll get about 16 hours of natural daylight for the next two months and as they are both plants that are suitable for an outdoor grow where light can't be controlled, I thought it might be ok?That's one big ass windowsill! I think you know the answer. IF that was all the light needed, why would we all be spending $$ on lights....
yup, but what you gonna do about the stink, and can they be seen from outsideI've just germinated an easy ryder and a sensi skunk. Both autos.
I've not got lights or any kind of set up they are just in 5 gallon pots on a windowsill in my spare room.
Will this work?
I own my own house, so no probs there and I'm in Manchester, England so not a lot of people know what a weed plant looks like, especially in a second floor back of house bedroom window.yup, but what you gonna do about the stink, and can they be seen from outside
How much difference is that likely to make? I've seen a few grow diaries where the grower has done the same as me and added some basic bio mutes and got great results. Why grow two autos for an oz? Get some cheap lights to help her along
Because it's easier for a dumb noob like me to do that. I've laid out 25 pounds on seeds (2 germinated, 2 in reserve) and round here, an 1/8 of an oz of shit weed is twenty quid ($30)Why grow two autos for an oz? Get some cheap lights to help her along
you gotta be kidding mate, how many grow shops in manchester lolI own my own house, so no probs there and I'm in Manchester, England so not a lot of people know what a weed plant looks like, especially in a second floor back of house bedroom window.
Where I live, it's practically invisible. High up and at the back of my houseyou gotta be kidding mate, how many grow shops in manchester lol
Errrrrrr, none, possibly one seed shop now. Manchester seeds has gone. Dr hermans doesn't sell anymore. We've got a hydro shop and that's itWhere I live, it's practically invisible. High up and at the back of my house
Thanks angel eyes.your pots are way too big for seedlings, you have to start with smaller pots than transplant a couple times dont know how old your plants are if you can take them our without damaging the roots ... pics would be useful
Starting in final pots is not hard nor detrimental imo. I started some in small pots, and some in their final pots, and if anything the ones in final pots edged out the ones I transplanted up to the final pots. It is a bit tricky with the watering to start out, but after the first few weeks out the gate its pretty darn easy. Plant below is barely 4 over weeks old and started in a 7 gallon.your pots are way too big for seedlings, you have to start with smaller pots than transplant a couple times dont know how old your plants are if you can take them our without damaging the roots ... pics would be useful
