you should look at the back of the fans. they will say 12V or 6V (pc fans are more than likely 12V), and something like .50 amps or 500ma. that is what they need to run. then look at the ac adapter for the phone charger. Look at the output and it will read something like 12V 500ma. I recommend keeping 12 volt with 12 volt and trying to keep the amps within 1 or 2 points. so if the fan asks for .5 amps (or 500ma), you can go up to .6, but no higher. you can go lower though, like .3 (300ma), but at reduced performance.
Some folks say that you can use a 6volt with a 12 volt fan. It is my choice to run them at as close to the correct wattages as recommended. I do this to extend the life of the fan, and the adapter. plus you dont want your fan to burn up from too much, and yes even too little, power. But if you must you can run them with what you have. they are running at lower watts. they will still give you some life.
