This grow scares me more then any before. I will be on a new kind of nutrients, for the second grow, and a new strain...... Which is now a SATIVA prodominent. I am shacking in my boots... LMAO

I Changed out the Nut Soup today. I raised the PPM to 800. Look at how wide these leafs are. Does a Sativa strain have wide leafs like this when they are seedlings? I think they look pretty good for just over a week old.:blsmoke:

I saved two seeds, just in case i really like this strain I can get a mother.

CHOO-CHOO!!!!!!

Mine are from Green house also.

Did yours have fat wide leafs when they were seedlings? I have not grown a Sativa dominent strain before. So I do not know what to expect.

it burns easy......it will take tons of water but if you feed it too much it will just crumble....my next go around im going to use water only for flower because it loves it more then the food.....and its going to grow kind of wild...branches everywhere, buds everywhere..and i mean everywhere...they even grow right out of the stalks where there aren't even nodes...and the calyxes are huge....you will start seeing them come out of the buds in about week 6 or 7 of flower....to get it just right it needs at least 9 weeks flower...10 if you can wait...

Thanks Cali. I will take that information to heart..

You Mean you will not feed them Nuts at all while they flower, your next grow?

probably not....they are very different then the rest of my plants...and any other ive grown...but they seem to like ph'd water with no nutes best...and the resin is nuts so its not like you really have to add anything...but I did give them boost which was 12-55-8 about 3 times. they liked it but the leaves started to turn yellow fast so I leached them and stoped giving them nutes all together...its really my favorite plant right now. I was big into the kushes and whites, but this stuff is freakin good...

I was thinking about getting some GHF Trainwreck for my next grow. I'll definitely be watching this. Looking good so far. I may have overlooked it, but how long do plan on vegging?

Cali it is hard to believe a certain strain likes to have nothing but water to feed on.

But I will take what you say to heart, and go very, very slow with the nuts.

Here are pictures of my Trainwreck at 10 days old. I have been told this strain is prodomitately a Sativa strain, but the seed house i bought them from did not say which it was. Look how big and fat these leafs are. And if so, look how short they have stayed. There is no stretching here.

What do you all think?

No Opinions on if these are Sativa dominent plants? Or is it to soon? These leafs look like Indica to me. I have always grown indica for my indoor grows.

hey man....agreed the leaves do look pretty fat.....in my case (Top44) which is supposed to be indica dominant.....looks VERY sativa dominant.....it'll be interesting what the stone differential is between the top44 and bigbud (which is expressing classical indica form) .....the phenotypic expression of the genotype can play tricks for sure....:hump:

It looks pretty indy to me, but I am not an old timer. The plants are looking good though... I can't wait to see this grow pan out. Keep doing what you are doing!

Oh shit, I just happened to see this, and I think that Tahoe said it correctly. This guy is the most informed new grower I have ever seen in my life, and I envy his knowledge. Tahoe has wisdom and book knowledge that can benefit us all.

Similarly, I expected my Great White Shark plants to be very Sativa dominant from their description. When i grew them, they had leaves so fat they overlapped all over. I think that for the most part, no matter what one hundred explanations say... you can never tell what your seeds are telling until you are in the thick of flowering. Sometimes, you have to grow as if they are your children. And, for the record, your children look like little league champs.
