Hi
My english skills arent 100% so I ask help from you to translate this;

"A second survey, the largest of its kind, assessed the comparative risk of drunk and drugged driving"

I have problem to understand what word comparative means in that sentence.Does that
mean that they study risks between alcohol and drugs or both separately, thats what I
wanna know.

is same as "A second survey, thhe largest of its kind, assessed the risk between drunk and drugged driving"?

Maybe I ask it wrong. I try to translate news paper story and thats why I ask that.
Heres that sentence again
"A second survey, the largest of its kind, assessed the comparative risk of drunk and drugged driving"
I try to ask that did this mean that they study which one is more dangerous, alcohol or drugs when driving?
Translating is hard when one word has many meanings

What is your primary language? Synonyms for comparative: analogous, equivalent, similar, like, corresponding, etc

It means the survey examined the similarities and contrasts of the risks of drunk driving to the risks of drugged driving and vice-versa. I think. You're the fucking doctor man!
