Transplanted Baby clones 48 hours ago ( First time Grower)

Hello everyone!

New to growing and very excited about it, for medical reasons of course :p

I have a situation going on and looking for some input, I know pictures and background will help a lot so those will be included:

I received some Kush clones for my first grow which I wanted to do in 100% perlite. When I received the clones 48 hours ago I transplanted them immediately and started the 18/6 cycle. When I was transplanting them I removed all the soil from the root bulbs as gently as possible, some were damaged and severed in the process but all transferred direct to Solo cups and watered with a very light dose of GH flora Nova ( as I am told this is all I need)

They have run 18/6 for the last couple days and are not looking so hot. I also realize I should be transplanting these into 5g buckets and probably should have done that right away. The roots are not long at all, and some of them severed.

So, really 2 questions,

1. What can I do to help them through this.

2. When should I transfer to 5G pails?

Also note that they have not grown at all in the last 48 hours,

Thanks for everyones help with a noob!

Cheers, photo 4 oops.jpgphoto 1 oops.jpgphoto 2 oops.jpgphoto 3 oops.jpg

I've found that my clones that go into 100% perlite, they take up to a week sometimes to show any growth at all. Be patient, and before you transplant again, give them 7-10 days at *least* to get some roots going.

Just be patient, and within a week or so you should see them start to have new growth. Then you should transplant into a bigger pot. I would stay away from any nutes right now, and just give them water and regulate their humidity. Another thing too just to try, I have been using 20/4 cycle instead of 18/6 and it seems to be working a little faster. Just my opinion. Hope your grow goes well.

I would have left the soil on the root balls. I dont think a solo cup full of soil would have hurt anything. Also, I dont transplant until I see roots coming out of the cups drain holes and my plants use all the water I give it in 1 or 2 days.

As papadankles said "Just be patient". This is the single most important piece of advise a new grower recieve. I know its hard but just leave them alone.

Those solo cups DO have drain holes correct? If not do that ASAP. (sorry just looking at the pics again and didn't see any, figured you would put towards the bottom and maybe I passed them over)
