Transplanted sprout is dying

My sprout is dying after I thought it was a different plant that wasn't marijuana so then the next day I put it back in the ground and watered it with some super-thrive what should I do?

Should I continue to use super thrive and cut the leaves half way off so the sprout focuses on its roots?

Just let it go dont butcher yet. Dude i have left just a stump behind after harvest no leaves but there were 2 or 3 maybe 4 nodes. I watered i once a week and after two weeks it had a fully exposed leaf with 3 blades. So im sure your lady can come back. Trim the leaves when they die. Lamp

I gave the stump to a friend so who knows what its doing now.
