Transplanting from Net Pots?

Can you take your girl from a 2" net pot to a 4" pot to a 9" pot without removing any pots? In other words, can you just plop one pot into the next, fill the void with hydroton and thus avoid any transplant shock?

Do hydro clones (ezcloner) develop a major tap root that would be hindered if left in a smaller pot?

Roots just grow through the slits. roots are surprising stron in that they will easily bend the plastic slits around as they grow. What you suggest would work just fine. hydro ton tends to produce a lor t of secondary roots rather than tap roots. tap roots are fat, secondary roots are more numerouus ansd skimmier. Hair rots are the best roots, but they are generally only found in large amounts with high pressure aero and atomizer grows (both with roots in air in chambers, not pots or tubes).
