Transplanting From Soil To Hydro?

I just started my 14 from taking the seeds poping them in soil spliting a cube taking the roots clean as much dirt off as possible and put about 3/4 of the plant in the water place earth rocks around the cube and away they go been 11 days and they are looking good getting there second set of leaves the reason i did a soil to hydro plant is bc i couldnt get my seeds to pop in the cubes. if you are very careful you wont hurt the plant it is a weed ya know :) but you do have the risk of turning the plant to a male if you damage the roots at least thats what i have heard ill let you know if that is true in 20 or so days :)

a few people in this thread are speaking of things they dont know...

here is the fact...

i run hydro.

I have both aero cloners (hydro)

and do rapidrooter plugs (dirt like medium)

the clones in the rapidrotters root faster and stronger.

once roots come out of the bottom of the rapid rooters, i peel it away as best i can, and transplant them into the easycloner (hydro)

These plants have the faster developing root systems than the ones that started in hydro.

So to all the fools above who spoke on things which they do not know... there is reality for everyone

and the reason for this, as i have discovered, is that the ezcloner sprayers spray away the rooting hormone.

The rapid rooters, the stem stays bathed in it.

Hormones grow roots... faster than stems without hormones.

its that simple.

that makes alot of sense. and i was just thinking abut running an aero cloner rather than rockwool cubes.. hmmm... decisions decisions...

Dude I did both ways in the past, I sold my aerocloner and use RW 100% of the time now. It takes 1/2 the time and the RW doesnt bother me, actually I use to grow in 4x4 cubes but now I just put the starter cube with the rooted cutting into a net pot with hydroton and set that in my table.
