I got some plants that I vegged in soil. Id like to transplant to 5 gallon buckets to hydro, while also switching to flower(my veg room cant fit 5 gallon buckets, so its impossible for me to get them over the transplant shock)

Can this be done? I hear people have problems switching from soil to hydro, much less doing it while switching to flower

This is a bad idea dont do it Unless plant is only about 6" tall. otherwise there's noway it will survive. If it does there will be a period of extreme retarded growth and a great chance for disease.

What would be the proper way to switch from soil to hydro? I would have to transplant first to hydro, wait till it gets over shock, then move to veg?

If the plants under 6" tall than start by dunking the entire pot soil and all in a tubb of water(1 cap of MiracalGrow Quikstart mixed w/ water) keep submerged for about 5 min than slowly and carefully separate roots from soil, trans plant into netpots with hydro clay or just a bed of hydroclay. keep nutes at about 100-300ppm for the first two weeks than go to gradually get up to full strength.
