Transplanting when flowering?

Hi People,

So I ahve 1 plant that is indoors and is about 18 inches high. I just started a 12/12 cycle about 6 days ago, It looks healthy and I think it female. It is only in a 6 inch pot. I finally got the material so I can transplant into a 2 gallon pot. Will it be bad to transplant it when I have put the plant into flowering? I'm afraid that if I don't she will get root lock. The plant has started to slow in growth as well, I think cause the pot is too small. Any suggestions? Should I put it back into veg until it gets used to its new home?
Also, how long until I should see pre-flowers? There are no nut sacks anbd I see 2 small hairs sticking out at the nodes but they are not white. They are green and seemed to be lined with a white fur. Sorry no pics. Still working on getting a camera.

Thanks.

yeah you should definetly get that into a bigger pot. a 6 inch pot is not going to allow you to grow much especially if the plants already 18 inches... how long did you veg for? def dont put it back into veg you should be starting to see preflowers soon if its already been 6 days...

I vegged for 4 weeks. It was started outside and stayed there for a week and now has been inside on 24/0 for about 2 and 1/2 weeks and under 12/12 for the last 6 days or so. 18 inches high about Kinda stretched it has 9 sets of nodes and smaller branches are noa bout 2 inches long coming out at each node. The top 3 have sets of 2 small green hairs with white trim on on at the nodes as well - leading me to think she is a female and no signs of nuts. I havent given any nites but am going to get some blooming stuff this week.

post some pics when you pot her on.
when you do make sure the soil is dry so it dont break up and damaged the roots.

My other 2 plants that I'm trying 12/12 from seed are doing well too. Strawberry cough.
