Transplanting while flowering??

I mostly just troll these forums for advice and ideas but I have seem to run into a problem with my first grow:wall:

I have these two beautiful ladies growing but they are both about 2-3 weeks into flowering. The problem is that they have shot up about a half foot in the past 2 weeks or so and the pots I have them in are too small.

They are between 3-4 feet high but I only have them in 1.5gallon pots. I have some 3 gal buckets I bought but my question is should I transplant during the flowering stage? I mean can I transplant them and if I can shoud I?

Any advice or help plz:?: thnks!

Someone with more experience should be along soon to help more but in my experience you should have transplanted earlier into maybe a 4 or 5 gallon pot before inducing flowering.

You need to remember the rule of
for every foot of growth you need a gallon.

ANd that plants will double in flower at least so if you have a plant that is 2feet tall in VEG you should transplant it into a 4 gallon before flowering.

I am unsure whether you should do it now due to stress levels during flowering which could induce HERMIE issues.

Personally i would keep as you are until harvest.

Yep Stress can turn her to survival mode where she develops male flowers full of pollen.

Once you get past week 4 of flower hermie's are alot less common. I had one go hermie on me just before week4 i was pissed off big time. lol

the only thing is you will need to water more as it may dry out sooner than if you had a bigger pot.

Personally i still remain the same
stay as you are water when needed take a little less yield from not doing enough research first and dont make the same mistake twice.

Hi, You risk slowing down the flower development. If you disturb the roots it may shock them so IF you do do it I'd mix some Vitamin B-12 liquid into the nute solution for a couple of feedings. It calms the plant and encourages roots.
Similarly the transplant can expose tender feeder roots to dry air and kill them. Anyway those are some of the risks.
The risk if you don't transplant is that your watering becomes pretty critical because you've got such a huge green top over a relatively small root system doing it's best to keep up with the massive out flow of moisture. It will work out both ways, but I'd transplant since it's early into flowering. Just be real careful not to disturb your root mass if possible, use B-12 and I might mist the top for a while (unless this creates a mildew problem for you) to slow down respiration a bit while she's getting used to the new pot. Good Luck, Happy Gardening! GrowIT!:weed:

Ight mayne preciate the advice

Ima prob just stay the same like you said but you dont think they might get nute lock?

Idk the one lady she seems sick, curling leaves and yellow tips, I think nitrogen def but maybe it could be nute lock from the small pots.....
what do you think?
I can post pics too

Yea I'm growing soil, a mix of perlite and stuff. Um concerning ph I only ever take the ph of the water rly before I water them and its always good about 6.3 or around there. The soil ph is a little high though it tends to float around 6.5-6.8.

I never take the Ph of the runoff so idk. Why would you take the ph of the run off?
Umm idk I havent flushed since I started flower and I just give them about 1/2 nutes cause I dont wanna burn them ya kno?

let me get some pics too ill post em next if I can work my girls camera.....
