another lame question,
SORRY GUYS, so far everyone is a life saver...... can I transplant to a different soil after doing so 4 days ago? Im trying to change the soil to organic or whatever, but two plants seem to be stressed enough with over watering....Any tips? Leave em alone? or change the soil? I dont want to add nutrients..not that im against them but i kinda dont feel comfortable as i never did in the past.

had some issues with yellowing leaves at the bottom.

if you guys think i should use nutes i guessssssss ill listen if its gonna help but the main concern is transplanting them again into a dif soil after doing so 4 days prior from reg shit soil to MG.

i swear ill stop being a loser/pest.

There is no pic or other info on your grow, so I am basing solely on what you wrote here. You sounds like someone determined to overdue it. Not insulting you, I was the same way. So without knowing why you want to switch soil ("to organic or whatever"???) I am going to suggest you let them be. Keep it simple!

If you are in MG, then just be very careful not to overwater.

And don't add nutes until the plant looks like she needs them. I use a soil mix wiht no added nutes in it so that I control what they get and when. Harder to do, IMHO, with any pre-nuted soil.

You will have to regardless of what soil you use. There simply is not enough of the right nutrients in the soil to last all the way through veg and flowering. I would wait until your next grow or take a clone off the plant you have and grow that organically and then you can see which way you like better.

If you transplant them now, you will stress them out. If you must transplant them, wait another 4-5 days.

And if you do re-plant....
Add Vermiculite and perlite to your 'soil' to give it a lightness, so your roots will flurish...
And add nutes after the plants are 4-6" tall, no later... start at 14 strength, then up it every week until you are at full strength...
Good Luck...

Dont like telling people they are wrong expecially since we all grow differently but I wouldn't add vermiculite to soil at this point that's made for germination specifically, how ever the perlite I agree on. U can transplant them now infact it might help. If the bottom leaves as yellow its because of to much water so simply and carefully transplant into a new soil mixture of 60% soil ur choice and 40% perlite. If u add pebbles to bottom of the bucket it helps drain wateree much faster I always put two inches of pebbles. Water seedlings 3 oz every 2 days or only when top soil is dry

there is never lame questions we all started were u are. Good luck

My uncle told me once that if you need to change soil in a plant, just take it out and carefully start dunking it in water. Do not shake it, do not force it, just slowly dunk, and keep dunking the root ball into the water and every dunk will remove more and more soil, and do it in a way that is not super bad for the roots. Next, you'll hang it down in the pot where it would be buried to, and just handful your soil in a bit at a time, it should take a while, and then you want to very slowly water it. I never tried it. And my uncle talks a lot of shit. So I don't know. I only have a couple grows under me, and he also tried to get me to piss on those, so I don't know. But hey, if anyone else has heard this - True or False? lol.

Why are people re potting when plant is not root bound whenever the plant has an issue thinking it will help, it just makes things much worse because transplant shock will set it back even further. Most of the time it didn't need re potting and being root bound also causes little to no problems. Fix the health issue before you yank it out of a pot and shove in it another.

Your not wrong, whenever you re pot make sure the rootball is not disturbed or crumbling or dunked in water and shaken all around.

True, except if it is root-bound and the roots are 'spinning' around the side of the pot.
In that case, loosening the roots at the edge a little can help.

With out pics it is hard to say what the issue may be, But these guys are right, you need to address what ever health issue the plant has before transplanting it or you are just beating a dead horse with a broken stick.
