Transplanting

I have a plant that just poped up in my yard, she (lets hope) is about... 5 inches tall... I live with my mom, so I obviously cant just let her stay where she is forever. When do you guys think I should transplant? I figure I can wait a bit longer, im just going to put off mowing the lawn, and hope the grass keeps up with it : ). There was 3, I transplanted two of them into 3 inch pots, they were only about 3 inches when I did this. Transplanted them into some pureblend soil, had high nitrogen, and I put them on my roof so they could get the whole days sunlight. However when I got back from vacation they were knocked over, im guessing by strong winds.

I have a spot to put this plant, in my woods, where my other 2 plants are hangin out, however im not sure whether I should let it mature more, or transplant it now. Also what size pot do you guys think I should use for now. Also any transplanting advice would be great. Iv heard about using superthrive, not quite sure however. Thanks guys.
