Travelling to Canada

I'm going to Montreal, Canada from 11/8-11/11. Is there anything going on that weekend? What's with Canada and bud anyway? Do they really have some of the best?

I go around that time... A site I find that helps alot when travaling anywear is webehigh.com ... they tell you where you can buy weed anywear in the world...
Its also quite easy to become a member at any number of the cmpasion clubs... all you need is a doctors note that says you have something wrong with you... and almost everyone does it seems... I've been going for years... didn't find out about the clubs until my last visit... now I'm a member... and can buy weed legaly and cheeply and good qualitied... 200 for an ounce of grade AA every 5 days... thats enough for prettymuch anyone!

What kind of doctors note? I have had some eye surgery. What should the note say just that my eyes hurt?

sounds fun... yea it seems there always trying to have some crazy torest atracting thing... in the summer the have a music festavle the Firework olympics, and a comedy festavle... and tons of other festivles...

I'm from Canada,,and my only experience with Montreal and Quebec left a bad taste in my mouth,,and I only passed through on a drive down East,I could rant,,but I'll leave it at that!

I get migraines. Can I just get a note from my doctor that says I get them? Will it matter if my doctor is american?

I just used yahoo maps and it says the compassion club is about 5 blocks from my hotel. that is frickin sweet. their website says that you need to fax or mail it in and they might call your doctor. will a doctor cosign it or just tell them to screw off? montreal in the summer sounds fun but i'm goin back to europe next summer. i'm selling all my shit and i'm going. i'm gonna live like the italians and relax all day, and enjoy siesta and just have a good time while i still can.

nope... if you go to the store that I posted above the adres is 68 rachel... get a map it'll be easy to find... its all the way on the east of racel st where it almost ends... it goes for awhile so dont go on the east...
it was a verry small store and all you do is give them the note... they call the doctors office and ask if they have a patient by your name... and than they say o.k. and hang up... and than you show them I.D. and than they say... welcom to the cannabis club!!! YAY!!!
this store is the easist going... others require to actualy speak to the doctor... and tell them whats going on... so this store is the one to go to...

They had at least 10 strains.(way more than any drug dealer!)
and for $220 you get 4 quarters... each of any strain you pick... each strain is labeld whether its indica dominent or sativa...
And all 4 buds I sampled where verry good... some of the best weed I'v smoked... I liked their blueberry hash plant and jean guy... which was sower diesel...
I was disapointed with their haze... even though it was a very nice smoke
They also have hash... and brownies and cakes... I didn't get any of that though

i forgot my manners and meant to say Thank You for all your advice. i'll be going to Canada on a friday night so I may have to fax it during the day or something. i'll figure it out later. i've never really tried too many different strains before although my ex-bf had some that used to make me randy as a goat. it was awesome. where can i find info on different strains.

if its the one rachel st than you dont need to fax them anything... I just showed up and had no problem... the people working didn't think I could join because I was an American... but than they said the manager was comming so I went to the bank came back and the manager was there... and than he just called the doctors office and photocopied some stuff... I had to right down how much weed I smoke in a week and how it affects me and how I feel it makes my illness better... and some other stuff probably that I dont rememeber... Hope you find the place and get some kick ass weed

My main problem is that I will be traveling to Montreal on a friday night and leaving sunday morning. My doc's office is closed on weekends so unless I fax it before I leave they're not going to be able to get in touch with my doc. I'll call them on my next day off.
