I think it's down to not growing the best seed stock, like how mums that drink heavily in pregnancy don't have the best kid stock.

It's a polyploid. Very common in plants. I'm going to keep it for sure it's a good bean from a reputable breeder. I have ran it before but this is the first time seeing the mutation
