Trichomes issue

Hey all. 1st time grower in UK. Have a single plant (Strain unknown) I have had it in a 15Litre bucket and its grown beautifully.
I've only used sun and rain water with no nutrients. Its extremely sticky and stinking so aroma is def a good one but....

I'm nearing the end of week 8 in harvest and ALL my pistes are orange and I've had no new bud sights develop so from 1st appearance it looks ready to harvest. However on inspecting my trichomes at 400x mag almost All my trichs are clear with only a small ball of cloudy in the tips of them. Some have gone full cloudy and a few have now started turning Amber.

My question is that because I risk getting caught.. Are clear trichs OK if the plant is showing harvest time signs with the pistels? I know clear gives a more heady buzz than a sofa lock buzz which is what I'm looking for but I'm worried that harvesting too soon will cost me potency and smoothness.

Please advise20220920_073522.jpg220921_161417.jpg220921_161548.jpg

Step 1 try not to get caught. If she's still drinking lots of water I'd keep it going. If the choice is between harvesting now or letting the law chop it down for you then...

sofa lock
:eyesmoke: Never heard it put like that lol

The pics look like they are from leaf surfaces. Need pics of the calyx where the pistils are coming out of. The leaves will be trimmed off most likely. The calyx is the actual bud. You want that to be ripe.
