trichomes on my sativas are still milky! Help

Over a month ago I harvested 5 plants that were close to 50/50 milky/amber.

My 4 sativas seem to be taking a looong time to get to 50/50. Its problably only 90% cloudy on my remaining sativas and its almost thanksgivings.

Do sativas not produce as much amber tricomes?

Is it good to leave my plants out this long? They have been flowering for almost 3 months!

sometimes it takes four months

sativa always takes longer to mature (2-6) weeks longer depending on conditions

trichomb color is determinate on calyx development, which takes somewhat longer on sativa.

also differant kinda of THC oxidize at differant rates.

so watch the weather for a cold snap, dont pick wet, and let em sit as long as possible.

cloudy tricks ,will be a up type high sounds like at 90% cloudy they could be harvested any time .. maybe take a bud off and dry it quick to check on the effect

Just taste tasted my purple nug and it was definetly a weird heady high.....not a huge fan.....Ill keep waiting and hope for the best

Yeah, but I don;t find the quick dry a good test... of taste or potency...
I nearly died waiting last year for my amnesia haze to get to harvest, thought it would never happen.

It was ok, but I smoked it pretty fast before it had time to get to full potency. One of the plants was tiny, nd I just left it, till I ran out of weed a few weeks later... heh ... that tiny little plant so kicked my arse.. man i was crazy stoned. This year I'll just wait patiently.

Ya dude i'd say make her a thanksgiving harvest. Cloudy trichs just get ya a different kind of high, but still a good one at that. Since your others were 90%amber 10%cloudy, these will give ya the opposite ratio so you can really compare the two highs
