Trichomes still not orange!

So one of my autos (Auto Pink kush) has been looking phat for the last couple of weeks but seems to have been growing for a long time..
It is now on week 11 and been flowering since week 4.

Pistols are turning orange but still a couple white ones poking through, and all trichomes are white as well.
I assumed the trichomes start to change to amber pretty soon into the flowering phase?

Do you have pictures of your trichomes? Below photograph was taken with the Macro focus setting set to the lowest focus range on a Canon camera with the lens right in front of the bud. I'm waiting maybe a couple more weeks to see if the trichomes change to amber. Also, everyone says you can just "look at it" and know when it is ready to harvest... If that is the case, I know that my pizza doesn't look done yet, and I'm going to leave it in the oven. This is my first grow, so what do I know? Hey, why not experiment with different harvest times by taking a sample bud once a week as the plant matures. In your next grow of that same variety, you will know precisely when to harvest.
