Trichs look done, bud doesn't... What should I do?

Hey guys, so basically my plant has excellent looking fully developed trichomes, good ratio of cloudys to ambers, but the bud doesn't look finished at all, it still has a number of white hairs and appears to be putting on the weight still. Should I chop it or should I let it stay for a while? The strain is Lowryder #2 x AK-47 (aka easyryder). It has been growing since sprout for about 6 weeks now, 7 from seed. I don't have any pictures but I will post them as soon as i get the chance, I am a little cramped for time at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I recently had this same dilemma. I ended up harvesting and wish I waited another week. Check this out. https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/210501-zeuss-take-harvesting.html

Thanks for the reply :) I think I am going to wait until the bud actually looks ready, by that time I won't even have to look at the trichs anyways most likely. Any more opinions?

Hey Bro

6 weeks is a very short time - exactly how long have they been on 12/12 cycle? I've seen some people on here run White Widow over 10 weeks of 12/12. You could have another 2-3 weeks to go. I used to go by the trichs but after reading Zeus's take (I see you have the link above) there are more signs than just that. I would wait.

He's running a autoflower no need for 12/12, can't compare that to widow. But you should still have 2 weeks left on that easy ryder depending on what light schedule your on.

stop looking at your trichs and start listening to your plant.
Really needed to hear something like this, all i ever hear on this site is 'look at the trichs, they will tell you when its ready' and shit like that. Thanks once again guys, lovin the help.
