I second this thought. Don't go grinding your teeth because of your plants. Even so, we can all tweak our plants with minimal shock to obtain maximal yeald.

that guy raped those plants.
True, don't go supercropping all your stems like that, the main stem is enough. What that guy did was exagerated and useless, but at least you got the idea of the method.
he does i think, taught me some stuff.
was that 1 gallon of water and has anyone ever used this method for co2
Thx...call back the dogs!!! lolEasy there, people. Genfranco, didn't mean any disrespect.
My only problem with supercropping all side stems is that you and up with a very wide plant instead of one with a moderately tall one.
In your experience, does supercropping all your stems deliver more yeald, and if so, why?
My logic would tell me that the lower buds would still not get more light, beacuse a forming leaf coanopy would block the light pretty fast. Also, I'd suppose that the closer the stems are to the light, the mroe they get, the more buds they produce. Just my line of thought, it doesn't mean it's correct.
This forum is here for debates and knowladge, we should be learning from each other. Anything I say is always up for debate and I will genuinely enjoy to be disproven when it comes to issues like this one.
rusty nail in the stem in the last week - produces a protection hormone that also accelerates bud production (I have never tried this, seems a bit extreme, but it works)
wow. thanks for takin the time to answer all that. Guess I was just wrong, huh? No shame in admitting it.
I still have some questions for you: What are the strains that respond best to this treatment?
Would this work on tall sativas as well as on bushy indicas?
Does so much supercropping require additional time in vegging aka does it slow down plant growth for a while?
Again, thanks and +rep for the "eye opener".
I had heard about this too, but I figured it was bullshit. HOw do you know it works if youve never done it?
Thanks for all the tips. I heard that baking soda and vinegar work for CO2. Do you have a formula?
