Trim Lower Branches?

I got this Blue cheese. 8 weeks old. And its getting a little wide. So can i trim all the lower branches without making any stress or harm to the plant? And when it starts to bud, then would'nt it make bigger/better buds?
I could also use a good website with pictures to explain precisely how to trim the plant for optimal grow.

Lower branches - I'm assuming your talking about the fan leaves. The plant needs these to grow. I would leave them on or just tie them out of the way.

Sorry - I just looked at the pic. That's a healthy looking plant. Personally I wouldn't trim anything. Let it grow.

Use the search bar on this site to search for: LST(low stress training), topping, super cropping, or SCROG (screen of green).

I’ve used LST for years and will help increase your yield by a lot. Just started a SCROG grow so I can’t say much about it yet. Although it’s looking very promising.
