not a big deal, as we have a hockey team called the Toronto Maple Leafs, and nobody gets overly concerned about the improper grammar

Leave the leafs, the plant will get rid of them when she does not need them, trust me, every leaf holds important nutrients and acts as a solar panel, removing the top to allow lower leafs to get light is not efficient, removing lower leafs already makes more sense so airflow is improved on the lower parts.

I wait until leafs turn yellow and let go with a gentle pull, leave them alone until then.
leafs turn yellow just then when has nitrogen deficiency, whats ussually happened because on the flowering ends dont give nitrogen LOL.

Cut off dont wait seeds.

Honestly....To the OP I gotta say I'm impressed that's with CFL's.

Get yourself a real light and you'll be KILLIN. :)
Would love to run 600w hps but the energy prices here in the UK make that expensive and cfls are a LOT cheaper to run for me ;) If it works, don't fix it imho ;)
