Hi, Would it benificial to cut some of these leaves off i have circled in white? Also wondering why the shoots are growing out so long from the stem (circled in red)

always cut any dead dying leafs the more shoots the more yield u top that plant?

no dont take those off till they yellow at the end. those shoots are groing because thats were the buds grow

Im real noob. If i top the plant where do i cut it and what do i do with the top? Plant it?

The buds grow at the end of those shoots or inbetween aswel?

It seems it done by cutting the latest growth at the top. Am i right?
