:bigjoint: does anybody know if i can trim some of the fan leaves of my plant, it's so bushy i think the light is having a hard time getting through to the new growth at the stem, i am 2 days into flowering, is there a method of triming or will it be just fine....?:weed:

I would have to disagree. You could risk hermying your plants. Why not just try bending your leaves into positions that will allow for budsites to be reached by light. Make sense?

Dont trim the fan leaves off now! wait until you harvest. your leaves are where most of the photosynthesis happens.

dont trim fan leaves unless they are dying. . . think of them as solar pannels for your plant, thats where all the light is absorbed into your plant for it to change into energy! try bending them as stated above or move/add lights to accomodate your lighting problem. . . good luck buddy!

hes obviously not gunna trim every fan leaf off his plant the huge fan leaves are basically useless during flowering they use up more energy then they make i trim my plants and ive never had a problem
