Trimming while Flowering 31days

Hi, I've been looking for good information regarding trimming while flowering. And there seems to be 2 very different schools of thought on this matter.

anyways, my friend has trimmed the shit out of all his girls almost everyday, and they are 31 days into flower. They are quite healthy and producing what I consider a large yeild. He plans to continue his extreme trimming until harvest. I'm wondering what side effects if any will occur. I'll try to post some pics later this evening.

your friend is impatient and is THINKING hes helping her by snipping here and their. he is only reducing his yield.

Dont cut a single green lusious green leaf man those are sun panels and maryjane needs those to thrive so tell your friend to keep quit cutting at it

You Shouldn't Cut The Plants Til' Their Fully Ready For Harvest.
Just Let Nature Do Its Thing Man..

I do selectively trim all through flowering. There are many cases where 1 fan leaf blocks 2-3 potentially decent bud sites. If I can trim 1 leaf off an already decent sized cola and gain 2 or 3 more decent buds in the trade, well I'm gonna do it. I don't get crazy and trim like mad, but selective and stratigic trimming can make big improvements to overall yields - especially when combined with training. I also will tuck certain leaves under others to favor certain buds, in the quest for an even canopy.
Towards the very end of flowering, I trim more of the big leaves off to let more light penetrate to the lower regions and bulk up. The plant has already begun shedding fan leaves, I'm just pushing it along...
