Look in the Subcool subforum under Organics -- he's got a great sticky on making ice bubble hash (very simple process) PLUS video, both in the thread and on YouTube. The vids in the thread weren't working for me, so I watched it on YouTube.

Look up the following. Bubble bags, hash tumbler, silk screen hash, dry ice hash. If you have an oil piece, you can also make BHO. Figure out what works best for you and continue your research in that direction.
Cheers.

The easiest/cheapest way for you to produce something from your trimmings would be alchohol ISO hashoil.

Put your trimmings in a jar, fill jar with alcohol, shake vigorously, pour through a coffee filter into a glass pan, let alcohol evaporate (or cook on stove top on setting number 2, very very low).

I've been into overdrive with the bubblebags lately, definitely my new preferred method for making hash. I did ISO a few times but wasn't extremely satisfied with the results. Before getting a set of bags I hated bubble hash because i tend to smoke through it fast and it isn't always super cheap at the dispensaries around here, but now its my preferred type of hash. You can take all the trimmings and throw them in the bags, I have seen many whole plant runs with bubble bags. If the bags are too expensive you can still do an ice water method yielding decent results, not as pure but satisfying. whats the weight of your trimmings? you want 200 grams for a 5gal bag set per run of dried material, but fresher gets higher quality results

200 grams is 7 ounces.

That's probably optimal, but you definitely can still use a 5 gallon bag setup to do it with less material than that if you have less.

In fact, you can use the 5 gallon bags to process a LOT less, you just run into issues of efficiency.

IE, it takes the same amount of work to do it with two ounces as seven, so if you have the ability to wait for more material, you're probably better off doing so.

Probably wouldn't go for less than two ounces, though, unless you're talking about two ounces of real bud (ie not just trimmed leaf). But most people don't want to use "good" bud for this.

Just a thought, depending on the amount of trim you have you could make oil using the crockpot method and organic coconut oil. I do this quite frequently with excellent results. The end result is canna oil which can be used to bake with or used in other food dishes, can be used topically on burns, joint pains, and menstrual cramps, or even filled into a gel cap and then you have a portable canna capsule. Hope this helps :peace:
