trouble using an e z cloner any advice?

my pride is beating me up inside for writing this thread! lol why the hell am i having trouble using an ez cloner.... i ph water with lemon juice, good or bad? temps are at 75ish, no clue rez temps. been on 24/7 for like 5 days. yesterday ph swung to 7, ph down to 5.5. any advice on how you guys rock an ez clone would be awesome! im 2 days away from putting 50 clones in rockwool...dreading that day! lol

i filled to cover the pump and under the manifold... too much? seemed just right im running the ez60 and have like 6 gallons in there. i think...lol

is 130ppm too high? i may go get some poland springs...thinking high ppms is hurting big time. im about to check temps. where should temp be at for ideal. i have the books to check, guess im getting lazy like all the newbs lol

Well i am no expert but if your not using RO water I would use distilled water in an ez cloner.

Takes about a week for nubs (strain dependant) 10-14 for big root masses. Plain ro water changed every 3 or 4 days foes the trick for me no guesswork, dont have to ph and ppm and all that bs just fill abd go. No clone gel ir anything like that. I fill it up just under the flat part of the manifold

People make waaaay to big a deal about cloning!!!!! Use tap water, no need to worry about the ph of the water, and don't look at them for two weeks!!!

i dipped in clonex gel and also threw some great white in the rez. figured it wouldnt hurt. seems like everything has roots or nubs now... im so impatient! lol grrrrrr

summertime can be funny, next time put a cycle timer on and make sure your water temps stay constant. I run my timer 1 min on and 10 min off which keeps my water temps at 72-72 degrees all the time. You do not require anything, tap water is fine, until they root, its the hydraulic action that creates the environment for roots. Good luck
