I was fishing at the river and while waiting for some action I looked over and saw a piece of blue imbedded into the river bank next to me ......being bored I got a stick and started to chip away at it and unbelievable after about 45 minutes of carefully removing the hard packed dirt of the bank I got an old blue antique lantern the crazy part is the glass is completely intact .....and when the waters up it's probably under at least 8ft of water .....pretty cool hung it in my shop

No photos but couple years ago in Illinois on our hunting lease i found an old family graveyard.could only read 2 headstones that had a death date of 1912 ! Trees were growing thru most of it but you could see a square burm around the little plot that used to be a fence made of logs.the current land owner never knew about it.

Grab that bottle and get a good picture, if the bottom is rounded it might be pre 1800's and came off a sailboat.

This place is a treasure trove. No one knows about it, and the people that do or did, don't give a shiz about it. Other than the fact it's not my property...
