True Blue Dream or Imposters?!

So, I am a patient in Colorado and have seen Blue Dream at a handful of dispensaries all around CO and also have a couple of personal plants which were supposedly from Nor Cal. I've seen three major different looking buds and was wondering which is the true blue? Or can they all be Blue dream, but are different phenotypes?
Heres what I've seen so far:

Number 1 - This one is light green with obvious blue hues, a blueberry pie smell and silver/frosted look to the buds which makes them look silver from a few inches away. The best one I've seen/tasted, the one I also grow for personal meds.
Two - Very VERY dark pine colored buds with deep red hairs and not at all what mine looks like.. Resembled red dragon or some kind of kush and smelt some what like a blueberry, but had strong citrus flavor.
Three - Also a darker green bud with bright red hairs, some purple hues to it and had decent crystal development. Smelt very floral.

Whats going on? Why are there imposters out there!? Is anyone else experiencing this? I was wondering if maybe you could all post pics of your blue dream, or experiences with the strain. I know its supposed to be a DJ Short/Haze mix, but all of those three buds were labeled Blue Dream and each looked and smelled so much different!

True blue dream is very floral. Quite a bit like lavender incense on the exhale.

I'm pretty sure there are impostors for darn near every type of bud. Sad really. At any rate, I live in Norcal and got my hands on one of the very first few cuts of Blue Dream. Here is a pic I found online that looks very similar to what I had from a flower perspective.

Blue Dream has very huge long leaves. They are long like a Sativa, but you can certainly tell there is some indica in it because although the leaves are long they are also relatively wide. This comes from the Blueberry side of the hybrid. I like Blue Dream, but stopped growing it because it gets friggen huge and takes over everything else in my growroom for which I have limited space. It grows similar to Trainwreck in that it goes in every direction and will grow all over the place. I literally had a 5 inch bud that I found pointed straight at the floor and just growing away happy as a clam!

I would say if your plants are growing perfect and not messing with every plant around them....it's not blue dream.. Don't let this discourage you from growing it....it's a friggen booming strain. Just a bit out of control for my taste. Hope this helps!

Yeah, my BD doesn't smell or taste like lavender... It smells like a blueberry pie and has a yummy slightly floral after taste. It does resemble the pictures on cannacentral, but has more blue hue in it.. Super gorgeous strain and smokes beautifully for sure! Takes up a lot of space as well but I lollipopped her and kept it at 3-4 main stems. Worked well for this strain, helped yield nice quarter to half oz nugs. Thanks for the responses! There are still a lot of mixed opinions on this strain, I recently heard someone say Blue Dream was it's own crazy mutant strain and it wasn't even a blueberry mix at all.. haha! Almost looks like a blueberry x super silver haze to me though..

I just got sum blue dream cuttings. im hoping they yield well.

Definitely the lighter pheno is Blue Dream, I have never seen it with any dark leaves at all. The description is spot on. And I believe the lineage is DJ shorts Blueberry X Super Silver Haze as stated above

I have a few bluedream I got from a local seed shop not advertised as humbolt or dj shorts ' but as a local breeder version lol

So basically not bluedream but I'm stuck what to call it lol.
Flowering thus for 6 weeks yesterday
I'm thinking this is maybe indica heavy with a hint of sativa?? All three seeds I popped are all diffrent in ways??

Any ideas of what I might have here?? ķ
