True Blueberry & Hash Passion * Coco & LED

Start of week 8.

Going to start flushing the Blueberry here in a couple days, just about done. The Hash Passion will probably take a few days more. Got the AT120WR in the mix, and it's really nice to have some natural light in there. Can't wait to see how it works next round.

^^^^^really impressed, mmmmm blueberry!!............Yeah I think that's a big pro with the white leds, it just seems more natural..............

LOL. Push, pull, what does it matter. They all suck ;).

Very exited about "seeing" an Apache panel in your hands Puff. Have always wondered about them. I figured Apache would be gone by now. Guess not. They do make some bold claims, (their 120 watt LED = 600 watt HID), and hopefully we're gonna see some real world answers. Best of Luck with that bad-boy Puff!

Thank you good sir. The blueberries aren't quite as fat as the hash passions but they are a bit more frosty and smell amazing. I like the whites so far because now I can clearly see what is going on with the girls without needing to turn off the light or pull them out. Also nice not having a purple tint glowing. Just hope I can get the same kind of results out of them.

Yo fran! Yeah I've been wondering about apache tech for a while now too. Got a killer deal on one so figured id give it a whirl. I guess they are here to stay, contracts with nasa and stanford and major online hydroponics retailers probably help I imagine. They have several new products on the horizon...a huge panel, led tubes for t5 replacement, and they even said they've been testing 3w and 5w models. As for the equivalent to a 600w hps, I suppose thats just in terms of usable par? The way they explained it to me was, they have a test grower who used to be a master hgrower for oaksterdam and in his tests the AT120 yields 80% compared to a 600w hps but uses way less power and has 19% thc vs 15%. Another test with 8 units, just over 1000 watts, and they guy pulls 4 pounds. Sounds too good to be true, so I'm just exited to see what I can do with it vs my 200w diamond series.

Thanks curly! I'll post some new pics later today. Harvest tim is getting close...the true blueberries are getting a lovely blue tint and the fan leaves are turning purple so this has me thinking about getting some purps for genetics next round.
 
Looks great! And sounds delicious. I've got strain envy...

And the white light helps get better photos of your buds if nothing else eh ;)

Thanks Major! Strain envy is a beautiful compliment to hear. I'm loving both strains right now. They both have their own unique qualities that make them special.

what up l.e.d.? thanks for checking out my grow and for the props. never used blackstars but I've seen some really good grows with them and they are priced decently. good luck with that.

It looks like you will crush your goal(each plant looks to be more than 1oz for sure !?), very well done considering you dont have much power in there. Is your Kessil the Magenta? Would you buy another one? That new panel you just got, it's 1W leds, did you buy it for side lighting and to have it right close to the plants?

Anyway, Happy Harvesting... let us know the wet weight! so far that is all I do personnaly hehe and divide by 4, ... seems to be pretty accurate, accurate enough for me anyway

@enduro: I'm thinking it will be pretty close to the goal I set. If I don't hit it, I'll put the blame on the blueberries since they are noticeably smaller than the hash passions. Yes, the kessil is magenta and I would definitely repurchase again. Unfortunately, I sold it the day after I got my apache tech. Kinda bummed after seeing how awesomely it performed this round. That said, I will absolutely be repurchasing in a couple months or wait for the next price drop. When they are under $200, i'll probably pick up a bunch of them. I'll try to get wet weight posted per your request. As for the new light, yes it is 1w chips and I actually plan on using it as my primary light next round. With 14degree lenses it was not recommended to get too close, perhaps its just effects of the white light, but the new panel is much brighter and seems more intense. It has some very good quality diodes inside from what I've been told.
 
how much did you sell it for!? I hate to say this but I think it played a big role in your success , I have the 100W diamond and I don't feel it does anything special in the room. I think the Kessil are way over price but they are great side lighting that won't show on your power bill. I ordered the magenta a few days ago, seeing how well you did makes me feel good about my purchase, I think it will do well next to my main light.

I sold it for $200 on craigslist, paid $325 for it a couple months back but now I see them going for $275 brand new. I totally agree that the kessil played a huge role in getting the results. I feel it is a superb light for the wattage. I am sure you will enjoy it, but be prepared for quite a bit of noise and heat for such a small unit, dont be surprised if its louder/hotter than the diamond. one day I hope to have kessils in each corner of my grow space and cover gaps between panels. Or just do a spinner array when the price drops even lower.
