mine is running in the 370's ppm. using basiclly 1/4 stength GH with super thrive to help the roots for now, saline, and 6 drops bleach per gallon.
Saline? why? BTW- as your roots get closer to aero, you need to dial back nutes as the roots become more efficient. I believe TF stated the highest he has ever gone is 900. Also, if everyone would convert to EC or at least tell us which ppm scale your on along with any numbers would be helpful.

Saline? my bad sorry. Its silicon, dyna grow, what you recomended to me a while back. I am using the ppm scale that calibrates with 1382 calibration solution. Don't know anymore than that. As far as the roots go, I am dialling back the nutes time every couple of days usually 1/2 second at a time. I'm at 2.5/2 now if I remember correctly. I can't go look right now cause I am in night cycle.

Ah yeah, that's better- lol... I'm not sure which scale that is, but they're are conversion tables out there found easily with google. It sounds like you're getting it to work, good job man, keep us posted.

I needed something to aim my nozzles down a bit, so I decided to have a smoke... Got thirsty and reached for my gatorade.

I cut a bottle cap in half & glued the two pieces together. As for the hole in the center... My bad.

Google sketch up is pretty cool. Anybody ever layout their system?

My ~ 5 yo Hanna HI 98127(pH/temp meter) will not calibrate.

*EDIT: I replaced the probe ~2 years ago. The probe was giving false readings. I was wondering why I needed more acid than usual (and more over the last month month), but did not connect the dots. This could have been as a much a problem as the mist heads missing the pressure valve.

I contacted Hanna and was told that probes last ~ 1 year. Cost of probe ~ $55. I also needed batteries. Between the 2, it was ~ the same as buying a new one. There's a place in Atlanta that comes up when you google Hanna. It is $74.99 + free shipping.

the smaller the micron the smaller the hole. This would put 75 micron at 0.002952 inches

0.016 5-25 micron....025 is what i thought is cool 50 micron rollin like OGs

Thats around the thickness of a human hair I would think. Unless your nozzles have a very small orfice under .010 of an inch I would think you are ok. My nozzles are .016 and I am gona try it.

  • I am confused on what you are saying. 0.016 is about 407 micron.
