True One-Hitter Quitter - Which Strains?

So any veteran toker has likely been lucky enough to run across this rare ganj - the one hitter quitter - the ganj that one hit sends you into a 3 hour psychadelic trip like you have eaten some brownies......

In my over twenty years of smoking I have seen it twice and mind you I am no amatuer, I spent a lot of time in the dam and in medical states - I currently live in a medical state, I smoke many different strains every week but the last time I had true one-hitter quitter was about 2002 in Floridia we got a gram of some dank that was for the most part a solid block of orange hairs, 20$ for a gram which was a lot of money in 2002, I remember it cost us only 60$ to drive down there from michigan lol (amazing huh? lol) It still is a lot to pay for a gram these days but in 2002 that was almost unheard of...Anyway this one gram got 5 of us trippin for 2 days with 3 or 4 smoke sessions....ofcourse the hicks we got it from called it 'crippy' which is a southern slang word for 'good maryjane' .

My point is, it has been nearly a decade since I had something so good even after much time spent in amsterdam & cali....so whats the deal, do I really just have an amazing tolerance now or does one-hitter quitter really still exist out there?


Anyone out there grown a one-hitter quitter and/or know someone that has? what strain was it? Perhaps it is just a really good pheno grown at the equator that got me, should I make a trip to jamiaca in search for this one hitter quitter?

last time i had some bomb shit that had me going.. "nuh uh somethings in this shit" (lol) .. was like almost 2 years ago i took a trip to oakland .. had some shit.. Purple Kush X Bubble Gum..was one of the best tasting buds i had in a while and had me stoned as fuck.. you know im a big heavy smoker with a high tolerance myself.. one of the reasons why i love heavy indica strains.. so i know where you coming from..been smoking since 1997..

an example of X is He-Man and the Master of the Universe. man i loved that shit back in the day, even had all the crazy action figures ect ect. caught an episode a few years ago. wow. pretty lame with a heaping side of gay.

i remember my first 5-6 times getting baked to be the best, not because the weed was extra good or anything, but because i was with good friends, experiencing a new sensation for the first time and feeling the rush of being "bad" doing "drugs" lol (i was 19 the first time haha total square) i dunno. all the little things which elevate a common routine into ALGEBRAIC SLAMACOW!

were there any other factors to the super high? the trip down with buddies, met a hot chick, drank some snake piss lol fuck i dunno ;o) i do love to hear stories about that "one killer weed that made my dick fall off then grow back as a more mighty and superior dick" sometimes after my ma send me some new herbal asscleanse crap that shes into, i get super high like back in the day. someone should do some scienticic research into how not to get based out on weed, eliminate that tolerance! woot1

yea I feel you but I dont think this is nostalgia, I was a heavy smoker at the time always smokin good weed for more then a decade, but yea it was an exceptionally good two days with hot girls in hot tubs and things like that so that could of been a major factor, I was coming out of the barren tundra known as michigan in late march to the sweet sweet 80F weather and white sand tropical paradise atmosphere at the time so I am sure that could have some influence....but regardless of all that...This was ONE-HITTER QUITTER - as in no matter who the fuck you are you take one hit and cough your brains out and you are done! That is such a sharp detail that it could not have been created by mere nostalgia or the fact that I was in quite a euphoric moode at the time. Good point regardless.

Took the whole gallon worth of smoke in, and I literally blacked out within 2 mintues. Have NEVER had anything that strong since then. Fucking sleeper that bud was...

I've been smoking weed since 1980. I don't buy the euphoric recall on this because i definitley
remember the last time i had weed like that. 1995 my bud and i are on the way back from picking up
beer on a friday. He says to me, hey i can get some weed from a buddy. He's been saving this bud
since christmas and i think i can get him to sell it.
Skip ahead, he shows me this bud covered in purple hairs and my jaw hit the floor. I roll one up,
by now were nearing the house so we each took a hit. 15 minutes later, we realize we've been
sitting in the middle of the road, staring out into space, blinker on ready to turn into the driveway.
I think we turned to each other, and laughed about that for another 10 minutes.
The last time i was as high as that weekend was probably the first time i ever got high.
I've not smoked weed like that since, nothing i've grown, or bought has come close.

The homie had a Ny sour d / master kush. 2 bong rips and i was loaded from La to Bakersfield driven

I remember eating 10 grams of pure afgani hash once before crossing through customs. I've never been so wonderfully and totally high before or since. Not exactly one hitter though.

The last 1 hit I ever smoked was in college. My friend (and dealer) dragged out the most greasy slimy bud imaginable and rolled it into a joint. One very painful toke later and I was paralyzed. The whole world just rushed past at super sonic speed for what seemed like hours. I figured it was spiked because we were in the Midwest and back then there wasn't much of anything really decent. Looking back though, probably not.

Never found a one-hit-quitter in my life. Though to me one-hit-quitter means one nice hit, not see just how much smoke you can pack into your lungs in one puff.

I'm thinking the girls I got now might just be in that 1HQ club...ChemD x Herijuana, aka Sannies Extrema. They're 7 weeks in, look like they need 2-3 more weeks. Plant in the middle is a Sour Turbo from Motarebel.

I'm looking forward to going back in time with five AG I'm growing from Barney's Farm. I never had the stuff you speak of as I was born in '74, so it would be nice to have someone who's had the experience to compare. I wonder if there will be any volunteers? LOL!

As far as a one-hitter-quitter, that doesn't exist for me. I define a one-hitter-quitter as when you CONSCIOUSLY pass up a second hit because you throwing in the towel. This has never happened and I SERIOUSLY doubt there is a strain that could prevent me from taking a second hit - make it a third for that matter.

This closest thing I've experienced was one summer I was working out and dieting ferociously to make weight for the upcoming wrestling season. That was during the time when ephedrine was still around and I used it liberally. After an intense training session I took a bong rip at my cousin's house of some good shit, (nothing exceptional) and all of sudden I started losing consciousness and dropped my head on the countertop. The smack of my head on the counter and the flashing light snapped me back up momentarily enough to see and hear my cousin ask me if I was alright. Next thing I knew everything went black and I woke up on my back on the kitchen tile. My cousin had to explain to me that on the way down I first hit his oven door before hitting the floor. The dent is still there if you can imagine 250lbs. crashing down on some paper thin tin.

If you're searching for that kind of one-hitter-quitter, I think you'll need some genetically modified strains for that effect.

Started smoking in '69 and have had some one hitters in my day and am currently enjoying extrema, which is a two hit wonder, cause you wonder why you had the second hit.
Another one hit quitter is herijuana. There are several others, but continous smoking of any one herb decreases the effect, so change often.

idk.. i just got done growing some heri.. and it was lovely lovely smoke, but i have never had ANY bud that after one hit, i was done, and i have been smoking for over 20 years or so.. i have smoked some really good bud in my time, but idk, i've never had that one hit quit stuff.. maybe a bowl or two, but one hit? idk if that stuff even exists, but i'm keeping an eye out on this thread to see what others have to say.
but for now, i have to agree with tip top toker on this one..

I have some white widow from "?" and its a 1 bowl & call the doctor, its that fucking good.
