A female just starting to show sex can look like a male if there are no stigmas coming out of the floral bract.
Mine is showing female sex but it has one or two ball shaped bracts on each set of branches where the leaf meets. One of these balls opened up and has what looks like leaves in it. Is this where the stigmas come from?
I know its a female because it has white hairs starting to form everywhere. Im afraid its a hermie! but I was thinking there should be clusters of balls not just one or two .
