Hi everyone, this is my 3rd grow, this time I'm using Dutch Passion Blueberry Feminized seeds purchased from The Attitude Seedbank. I thought they had a great selection, reasonable prices and amazingly fast delivery.
For my hydro setup I'm still using my Cool Cab purchased from Sunlight Sheds (SLS). If ain't broke, why fix it right? For my Nutrients, I'm still using Advanced Nutrients as I had success with them in my last grow. I'm still using distilled water for everything.
I appreciate any and all feedback regarding this grow. The last grow my plants got really tall and surpassed my light. As result of that, I will be trying the "Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 2 or 4 MAIN colas" to help keep the plants shorter and try and maximize yield as much as possible. I'm not interested in LST as I don't have the time and energy in messing around with that technique. I'd rather just cut and be done.
I'm changing a few things on this grow such as the way I germinated the seeds and light cycle. This time I stuck the seeds in shot glasses filled with distilled water in the dark on top of the hot water heater. In less than 24 hours I had tap roots exposed and placed them in the medium. My light cycle is now 18/6 rather than 24 hours of light for three reasons, 1) to cut down on electricty costs, 2) MH bulb gets to hot in the summer and 3) plants grow fine in 18 hours of light during vegging.
So onto the pics. I took these pics on 6/30/09
