Trust a clone?

I have been looking for a clone lately and I found someone who can get me one. The problem is the clone will be unknown to me as I cant meet the cloner. I am told it is from a great home breed female from a guy who has grown for years. I was just wanted some thoughts on trusting a clone on word of mouth and not first hand knowlage.

Thank you

grow it and find out. sometimes it take a while to find a good source of genetics, but like most people you will want to order some seeds in the end even if you are getting a hold of grade A clones

What is there to trust? What are you worried about? I mean it could have bugs in soil, be a male or be bad genetics or is it costing....rw

Powdery Mildew and mites....Powdery mildew has made its way across the USA... I never heard of PM in Colorado not until the Cali clones showed up

Sometimes plants from one place should not be sent other places. quarantine them of course....rw
I live at 5,000ft, so lucky I don't have those issues. Plus thinking about it I never got a clone from a stranger.
