yeah, this bug thing has left me with all my joints on aching like mad, and i'm forever "full" of nothing and as a result lots and lots of stomach pains, just i can't really eat :P

get to see my cat tomorrow though and see how she's holding up and what not :)

and in future, if i were using peat, i'll bear that in mind, i tore a root off the first clone when i got it, and tore one off the healthy one this time :D

if i still lived in the countryside i'd be half tempted to start breeding myself. i was phoning arou/nd a month or so before christmas to see what the prices and such were at present, they're looking at like over £500 per kitten, that's some seriously good money i'll say. get a perpetual on the go, lots of monies! :P

yeah but in that 400 pound u get both sets of jabs and microchiping which is a couple of ton. The vets bill alone is over a grand a month its not all counting bills and playing with kittens lol

hundreds of cats though. imagine going to bed with a hudred cats on your duvet :O

just did a rather overdue watering, and here's the 2 cheese, the one that went full on into flower never really backtracked to growing again so is a bit of a midget, the other one though, i need a bigger cupboard, this thing just grows and grows and gorws!

the strawb and ak are still fairly small so i think i need to get a bigger lamp or a second lamp as they're not gonna catch up with the cheese and i can't keep the light at this heitght much longer

gahh, looks like half the tubes on ny 300w CFL don't work. :(

why dunt u just prop the shorter plants up to meet the canopy of the cheese? Looking nice and healthy mate>>>>>>>>>:joint:

oh because then the props and pots from the small plants totally block out light for 50% of the cheese. the cheese in flower seems to be suffereing a bit stuck in it's corner. this grow was meant to be just the 2 cheese in the cupboard, hence their size, but then i had my DWC idea so threw everything into flower so i could get rid of the coco and pots. only the cab isn't quite big enough :D

rigght, so i'm still making palns and such for DWC

my little tent is gonna store a pair of mums and raise 4 clones at a time, i'm literally going to grow the clones upto around 20cm maybe less then get them flowering

i'm gonna be using 2 totes to keep a rotation going, every 4/4.5 week kinda thing, but as such it means that one tote will have ful size plants and the other small clones waiting to flourish, so i need to think lights.

ideally 1 light would be best, so was thinking a 600w, but don't know whether this would output enough light not to acuse the new clones to stretch, without having to lower it, alternatively i could have a 400w for each tote and just connect the cooltubes, or i could hang a 300w CFL like don does and have that over the small girls. or alternatively i was thinking about the posiblity of hanging my light vertically but don't really know how well this would work.

id probably go with 2 x 400's connected together which is deffo enough light the enviro hanging is becoming a bit of a pain simply as i can only hang it from the cross bar in the tent not anywhere i want

lol, mine has a wooden ceiling so i just screw hooks in whereever i need :D

as you say, i think 2 400w will be the way to go, although that is going to require some delicated modification to the cupboard, being get a hammer and rip the shelving to shit :) need more spaceee.

here's a stupid question that i can't be bothered to search for :P

where is the fan meant to be ideally, i have one hanging and blowing diagonally down on the plants, but i might have dreamt it that this is bad for what ails them, and that ideally you need it blowing from beneathish?

i got two fans going, ones a clip fan and it blows across the top of the canopy to reduce the heat a little an d the other sits in the middle at the front about pot top height oscillating.

yeah i have an oscillating 6" one under the canopy i did have another clip fan running but in the winter its not really necessary

i need febuary badly. got no monies. i'm still trying to get these bloody tubs lightproofed. i ended up using a whole tin of spray on one lid with lots of coats, and it still does shit when held infront of a light. or maybe i'm going for tooooo light proof. hmm. gonna go buy a bunch of roll sof black and white tape. think i'm gonna try and get the tent setup downstairs today. had the insurance inspector in the attic due to a leak :S only another 6/7 weeks to go and the pots are done with! :)
