Turned lights on too soon during flower

Saturday morning I normally wake before the lights come on at 6 am but this morning the ballasts woke me up so I go in as normal and take a look and finally get around to wake and bake and notice its 3 am!! the dam lights came on 3 hours early. Being stoned i thought I would do nothing and just turn the lights off early tonight and give them more dark and get back on correct schedule. I now see that I bumped the timer yesterday evening and it thinks it is 3 hours early. Anyway I turned the lights back off and going to allow them to turn back on in 2 hours. I had the lights on for almost 90 minutes, Has anyone experienced this and did I fuck up more by turning the light back off or should I have just left them on? I am currently at day 75 (34 flower)

anyway whats done is done. Just wondering if it would have been best to just go with the lights on and let them turn off early tonight

Think about if it was growing outdoors. Its gonna storm at least a few times and lightning will light it up, it gets light from moonlight, some days are stormy so they get barely any light.

You will be completely fine haha no need to panic. It will start to mess with it though if that were to become a daily routine of changing the lights. Kinda like we have beds times so do the plants haha =P but sometimes some fugger turns your lights on when ur sleepin! Its just annoying is all

Thanks man, I figured as well especially so far into flowering. I took some pics this morning and they are coming along great. Some white Widow and one Persian Bud and a Big Bud just starting to flower. Fan leaves on the Big bud are almost 12 inch

No-one can tell you it will be fine. That is enough to make a plant go hermie. Yours may or may not but allowing that to happen should not be taken lightly. Light cycles must be taken seriously, mess them up at your own peril. Sorry to be a wet blanket but this is the reality.

No doubt, after the fact I was just wondering what was my best recourse. I think I should have just shut off the lights as soon as I saw it was 3 hours early and not let them stay on for an hour

You should have left them on for the whole cycle and then when they are off adjust your timer to get them back on track. Its the off and on thats the worst for them.:leaf:

I agree, a short night or day followed by normality is less stress than on and off. But it's all bad.

if it keeps happening yes there will be problems but that one time is not going to hurt anything. people can get a little freaked out and anal about light cycle fucking up on them. i have had my light go out due to some one hitting the power power poll and when the light cam back on i just set the timmer for the same on and off time that was already set and have never had a hurmie.

Agreed so far into the flowering cycle you will be fine, that happened to me a couple times using those dial timers...no hermies, now I just use those digital timers for wal mart that have a battery back up they work great and no worries messing up the time if you bump it....

What are you doing waking up at 6am on a Saturday?
Lol I am old school I cant help but wake up at 5 am like I normally do for work during the week. The advantage with saturday is that I dont have to go in and after my daily wake and bake I can do my weekly room clean out. I take all my plants from flower room to kitchen so I can fully inspect the lower foliage and clean out any dead leaves and fully water and run off 10-20% before putting them back into the room. Then I lay back down for a nap. Several Wake and Bakes are sweet, weekends for me are a continuous bong hit session watching movies and tv shows I leeched all week. Underground pwns

I will check these out, its a pain in the ass how easy it is to bump the time off with the timers
