I do believe that most if not all the producers will have to use iraddication on there product, you see I look at this from a grower/breeder perspective, the real reason for this absurd practice is so no(none,Zero) viable seeds go out to patients to be replanted, think about it???
again cmon people!!!
really? seeds? cmon bro I hope your no L.P with seeded mmj! seeds are from breeding or real bad growing skills. there better not be seed in mmj

There is Tweeds first Quarter, 0 revenue not a suprise as the first and only grow was a month late and sold out in one day, But at least they where Honest about the uncertainty of the MMPR and the impact of the injunction.
Sector Insights
"Canada is leading the world with respect to regulatory and product standards for the production of medical marijuana, and Tweed has clearly asserted its leadership role within Canada," stated Bruce Linton, Co-Founder and Chairman of Tweed. "This is a sector that was established through the MMPR less than a year ago and, while much work remains, Canadians will benefit from this bold leadership."
The MMPR structure was announced on June 19, 2013, and represents one of the most comprehensive and safe frameworks for the private production and sale of medical marijuana in the world. It provides a national basis for both controlled supply and quality verification, requiring LPs to achieve product testing standards not previously applied in Canada, and setting a standard as high as any in the world. This is to the benefit of the patient's health. For example, MMPR LPs are prohibited from the use of virtually all pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides, yet must produce a product that is without molds or other bacteria, tested to a microscopic level. Tweed executes comprehensives tests on all medicine prior to having it available for shipment. Third party labs are currently being used as Tweed is in the process of constructing its in-house laboratory. At the end of the approximately four month growing period, the drying, trimming, curing, testing, cold pasteurizing (as required), re-testing and packaging process can add as many as 5 weeks of production time to the seed-to-sale process following harvesting. This time commitment has merit, yet as Tweed has experienced, it does delay the initial production for volume release. Tweed began harvesting its first full size commercial growing room on April 21st, and shipped this harvest on May 5, 2014.
As market participants are aware, an injunction announced on March 21, 2014 allowed current growers and patients under the previous regulatory regime to continue growing until a legal challenge is completed. At present, the priority for many LPs, including Tweed, remains production of sufficient product to meet patient demand, even with the injunction in place. While production is a function that can be accelerated - and in the case of Tweed has been accelerated - the complexities of dealing with a crop in a highly regulated environment translate into added variables beyond the addition of further capital or personnel. The function of construction and production are serially linked, such that a multiple month time lag exists between decisions to expand capacity and the availability of new medical marijuana in the market. This constraint has been more impactful than anticipated by Tweed, has been a frustration to patients, and appears likely to be the singular l

Please quote the regs where it states Cold Pasteurization is mandatory.
this is a quote from Tweeds first quarter report, very honest, I don't know if this means it's mandatory but sure looks like it's going to be a common practice for Tweed.

Tweed is a far cry from setting the bar as far as industry standards go, and their internal policies on irradiation have no basis in the MMPR regs. They are forced to irradiate because they have a ginormous facility and batch sizes with very little control, are extremely inexperienced in cultivating marijuana, and are forced to irradiate to try and meet the required standards.

In their case, "as required" means that if (when) they exceed acceptable bacterial counts, they are forced to irradiate to try and make up for flaws in their facility design, growing practices, and QA procedures. There is a 15 minute video on Urban Grower's site where he was taken on a tour of the Tweed facility mid-grow. From that video alone, there are a number of issues clearly evident in both their growing and QA practices.

Looks better then the hay they released but it still looks questionable, and with them nuking the batch again, someone screwed up ............again.................................and will probably continue until they empty all rooms and sterilize which we all know isn't an option.

Tweed should just close the doors now. They obviously can't grow worth a fuck and have been nothing but shady and greedy bastards since they first announced their LP status. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if those cannabinoid results are a complete lie.

The master growers at tweed obviously haven't heard of a little trick involving throwing a little h202 in their water supply or nutrient reservoir to keep things sterile and boost o2 levels to the roots.

please let me know when you sample, I am on the stock site it's a laugh these people have no idea about Medical Cannabis, yesterday they were saying 7 strains, to harvest, today they only have 3 left and by Monday they will be sold out again like 3 weeks ago WTF this makes no sence, what are they growing 3 plants per strain? you got to know there pictures are going to be the best they got, the rest won't be any better then the first, but this selling out in 2 days and nothing for three weeks will prove to the judge that they can't consistently supply their patients which is considered a barrier of access to our medication, I agree they should be yanked from the list, maybe one of the other 780 CP can do better?

I also grabbed quite a few grams of 5 strains forgot to get the 6th oh well. This is the last time I will be buying if meds are still the same 'quality' as before. I don't doubt they can grow powerful medication, but I can't afford to fund there experimentation, I need quality medication with a constant supply. I don't think people should have to constantly check there LP's website over and over and making sure you put in an early order so you get your order or are stuck with only 1 strain like I was last time.
