That’s interesting, was the cross a hybrid, or was it genetically linked to the twin plant?
I’ve only done one batch of seeds with the twin seed mother I have, but I have only tested about 10. No twin sprouts, but that was sort of a backcross to a hybridized “sibling” of the twin seeds.
I wonder if I did a straight hybrid with the twin and a separate strain if it would be more prone to produce twin sprouts from one seed.
I’ve had many Siamese seeds over the years and one usually dies, but only one twin sprout from a single seed.
It would be an interesting test, as it seems one twin seems to get the positive dominant traits of the strain.
