Hey man I'll be tuning in. I don't recommend running 2 x 1000w in a 5x5 way to much light. I am currently running 2 x 600w in a Growzilla Dual Bulb Reflector. It works very well but I find myself wishing I would of have just gone with just a single 1000w.

Thanks for the heads up.... As of right now I'm running 1000 in cool tube one side is open ended the other hose runs to 440 cfm w/ carbon filter. I just got my 2nd ballast replaced then got a discount on the second cool tube. I'm going to throw a mh in that one and run then both at 750  Whatcha think? I also have a furnace cage fan in the middle of my filtered in let air and a fan taped to the end of the hose inside the room, I will:clap: replace that with another cage fan so I can use the fan for leaf movement. This week I'm getting my co2 tank filled

Going to be a couple more Weeks for the seeds..... I can't wait to start growing the smurfberry most of all it just sounds really tasty. I really love the quality of seeds from attitude. All the seeds I got coming are strains I have never seen at any dispensary EVER! Hope everyone enjoys these next few grows. I will start to SCRog once the plant count is up. I can have 30 so.....

Just got done drilling holes to run my 15amp extension cord to the 2nd ballast. I installed the ballast, cool tube and a mh bulb to this one. w20120218_200639.jpg20120218_195755.jpg20120218_195749.jpg20120218_195742.jpg20120218_195721.jpg20120218_195712.jpgithin 5 minutes of completion my girls started to extend their fan leaf reach. It raised at least 2 inches. I also dimmed the hps and am running both bulbs at 750, so 25 sq feet 1500watts of multi spectrum and thanks to the post office all on 2 plants at the moment...... Still have great light though :hump:

Since turning down the hps to 750 and adding the 750Watts of mh the plants are looking great, the temperature only increased to 84. 84 with a very nice cool breeze from outside being pulled in via a cage fan and 3 fans in the tent moving air and the suction from the exhaust it feels really really nice in there. The smart pots are doing wonders, this may be the most lumens I've ever used but not using nutes yet i've never had plants grow this fast. Since I'm growing auto's I'm only going to buy flowering nutes at this point. Wednesday I'm getting the flowering nutes and get my CO2 tank.

I have been contemplating drilling another hole and adding an outside hose and hooking it up to the cool tube. What so you think?

Random Knowledge, running lights 18/6 air pots make for more watering and I'm using rapid rooter composite soil plugs for stability. I'm using a 1-3 fox farm ocean forest- organic soil mix. I'm using 1ml of super thrive every gallon and a half working up to 1 ml every gallon. Room Temperature is 72-84 degrees the humidity is 16-46% . I'm keeping water covered inside and under 2 smart pots to keep out light but keep water warm. I use filtered fridge water then set the jugs in a hot bath tub to heat them up. I use vinegar to lower the Ph down to 6.2.

That's all I can think of. Feel free to ask questions or point anything out. Its learning for every one, imagine if Jack herrer had roll it up in the 70's

Im here bro to the end, Im very excited for that SMURFBERRY!!! defentely your doing your thing, very well. Hey Its just hella light watts and energy for them small as babbies IMO, I mean if I had like 12-18 seedlings yeah but its kind of over kill IMO, but I think they will come out huge at the end anyway, You have to focus that energy, and watts when flowering. Even though you'll have some huge ass plants in vegg, but they doulble in size when flowering thats when all the light possible is an extra plus, if you got it do it, but what I learn is being to ambitious can fuck you too, so you got to think alot and take it step by step and research some more on RIU to perfected your grow, and style. Good luck bro and I def see BIG THINGS coming out of this thread and garden.

Let me know, if you all enjoy the bud picks. I noticed other people do and I only get medical grade from the dispensary's so if you all like I'll keep posting the buds I get, if not let me know and I won't post anything but the grow pictures. :-o On a different note I hope you all enjoy this grow, this is almost 4 years of learning, making mistakes, studding, asking questions and finally getting the right set up for my growing style. Every other crop has been a creeper high lol I don't know how but every strain had been creeper :weed:20120219_160144.jpg20120219_155853.jpg

hey sry if i came off as a dick earlier, but if ur open to advice, id run those thousands on 50% more than plenty of lumens for that little amount of leaves. not like u can shove lumens into the plant. if u were running co2 that'd b a different story. if it were me id be saving money on electricity and maybe run them hps and mh on 500. but for the area ur working with and how many plants are there, 500 would b fine for some time.

If you can, zoom in on the first pic I just posted. It already has 7 points  First time ever a plant I grew went 1 point 3 point 7 point I always hit 5 point first and the 1024 reached 13 points but it still never jumped the 5 point leaf...

Ya man no offense at all, you are just over doing it... Not by me being a douche just pure science, those plants would be totally satisfied with a 400w mh and more than anything I see super tight nodes with fat cfl sitting right on each plant. I also question where your taking your temp at... I was just talking to someone that ran 2 600's in a 5x5 said it got hot with 2 huge 8in fans... Your leaves look to be showing heat stress already imo when a plant is happy those leaves are flat as paper aiming straight up at the lights.
