two 400 watt (Vs.) one 600 watt

heyy i have a 400 watt switchable hps/mh light n i was wondering if i should get another 400 llight to do Sog or if i should jus sell it and buy a 600 watt? someone recommended the 600...

What is your grow size? I would say go for the extra 400. In general, the more lumens the better.

I've also read you can add in a relay to your ballast to end up with two lights per ballast. Don't know if you could do that?

save yourself the time and trouble and go with a 1000w with aircooled hood. its worth it trust me i didnt think i would need it at first but 8-12 plants i am in love with this thing now. ive been juggling multiple ballasts 250/400/600s and i tell you this is the best choice i wish i would have saved the dough and gone with this setup in the first place. if your not about yield stick with 600s they are the best value per watt. but if you want killer dense buds go for the 1000 aircooled u can get it closer even than one 400w non cooled. trust me
