thank you, wish i would have known about this forum when i started gardening, would have help alot but people learn from asking question and trail and error, and If i was new to this and ask a question and got an answer like that it would probably discourage me

yeah,I thought he was being a dick to,if it wasn't in newbie central,I could understand, but he asked in the right forum. Now a search on the subject may have been a great suggestion, but look at the entertainment value of this thread now.lol

i should just mention, i also have issue with stupid pointless questions, such as male or female, is it ready yet etc. those questions are plastered over the net left right and centre, and can be easily googled with little issue of which keywords to search.
however googling a very broad very vague issue you don't have too much of an idea over, well it's going to yield you a whole bunch of contradicting and funky results. it seems a valid question for us to answer

I typed seed shell into the search up in the right corner of every page and got this,

If I have an issue, I search it out first, do alot of reading, then if I don't find the answer,I ask.
the great thing about this way is the info I learn along the way is priceless.
