Two More Weeks Of Flowering. Nothing But Overcast/Rain In Forecast

I have a Black Cherry Soda that is about seven feet tall and eight feet wide. I’m an almost-newb, and feedback in another thread has me thinking I have about two weeks left. We just went from a very long, sunny, hot Summer, back to our typical Portland Oregon grey, colder, wet going forward. So now I have a homemade white plastic cloche over it. Will it still continue to flower if it spends the remainder of it’s time in this environment? Should expect longer flowering time? Any tips?

You can increase the dark period to hurry it up by a couple days.

But you have a big ass tree. Maybe a big tarp?

It will still flower temps are going to be your biggest problem and you want to harvest while the plant is dry since you're experiencing so much rain

Looking like 50 to 70 degrees next few weeks. Some rain, lots of grey... Plant is still dry, covered with plastic. It's in the ground, in raised bed...

Enemy #1 is humidity.....I like to keep space open around the bottom of the canopy to let air flow in. I bet it finishes just fine as long as the humidity doesn't introduce baddies.

I have some guerilla coming in, but not done. One has a little PM or botryis that I might chop, the rest? Maybe plastic bag them for 24 hours....I am just a lil south in foothills, supposed to be 1-1.5" of rain tonight, fucks sake.
I have been checking the weather and forecasts religiously over the last few weeks. Same shit last year on Sep 25, that week we got 6" around PDX.

I'm in Oregon too and I have my plants covered except for two big dominant branches on one of my heftiest plants. Since it rained last night they got soaked. Should I worry about bud rot?

Give her s gentle shake. Try to get as much excess moisture as possible off. I'm in the same boat .. Outdoor growers are pretty much at the mercy of Mother Nature we had a vicious wind storm two nights ago and my branches are already splitting from the weight of the colas!! This is where the rest of my plants are now. Hoping for the best!

1. Will it still continue to flower if it spends the remainder of it’s time in this environment?
2. Should expect longer flowering time?
3. Any tips?
1. yes
2. only if it gets stressed, i live in the PNW as well and you'll be fine if you keep mold away. don't cut. wait until its ready or something (low temps, etc) force you to.
3. keep her dry, if your near Portland Powdery Mildew (aka botytris) should probably be your primary concern. since your covering her make sure she has PLENTY of ventilation, add a box fan or the like if you can.

post some pics so we can see what you have setup.

Everything will start to finish in a haste fairly soon, as the daylight hours are now decreasing below 12 hours in the Northern Hemisphere. Good luck at least your almost done anyway!
