Two plants in a 2x2?

Got a SF 24"x24"X48"...anyone ever grow 2 in that much space? Planning an LST grow...opinions?
Of course you can. It depends on YOU. Your goals. You can get more weight by growing a single plant and keeping it in veg a little extra. You can also grow 2 plants with less veg time, smaller pots and proper training and then you get to try 2 different strains instead of one. Just my opinion. Good luck!

I was also thinking 2 strains. I have Auto Lemon Haze and Photo Blue Dream. I could LST the BD and let the auto do it's thing with some pruning.

I wouldn't grow an auto and a photo together you're just going to limit the potential of the auto as it could be receiving twice the light. If I was going to grow two plants in a 2x2 ideally they would be clones from the same mother. That way they will have an even canopy. If I were you I would grow out the photo and then when you chop it leave a few buds and leaves and reveg it. Then you will have a mother. Once it's reestablish itself nicely and has some clones to cut you could do a mini SOG in that space for max yeilds.

Ya, I have to agree there. Just a fleeting thought. I think I will do 2 BD instead.
Grow 2 autos or 2 photos. Preferably 2 photos, despite the size of the tent. Also, just my opinion: Grow 2 different strains. That's where all the fun is at, at least for me. Trying new strains, new flavours, new aromas, new highs. I personally grow 1 indica and 1 sativa. I chop the indica pretty late for a night smoke and chop the sativa when trichomes are milky for a day smoke. The only negative in doing this is maintaining an even canopy because as you probably already know, sativas get way taller. That's ok. Tie that girl down. BDSM style.

I am now thinking I will do what I was leaning towards anyway. Grow 2 BD so I have a good amount of budz to medicate. When they are done i will start 2 of the autos.

Since you're growing indoors, I would forget about autos. And that's coming from a guy who started with autos and grew plenty of them. They're just inferior compared to photos in every single way. They're a little faster but that's not always the case. Don't expect to harvest autos before 90days most of the time. I've grown autos that got chopped at days 117 and day 103.

Well, I have grown many Photo plants and have always had great yield. But, I have never done an auto. TBH I have a buddy that has done many more grows than I and has never gotten any thing close to an even decent yield with autos. I am tired of his arrogant crap that he grows better than I based simply on the fact that he has been growing longer than I. So, I wanted to do a couple of autos and shut his mouth :D

A little friendly competition is good. Regarding autos, I've only grown seeds from Dinafem, Mephisto and Barney's Farm. Mephisto and Dinafem are as legit as they come. With Barney's, I wasn't that successful. Do some research on growing autos before you start my friend!

Genetics are your main factor here. Keep an eye out for Mephisto drop. If you get your hands on those seeds you'll blow your buddy out of the water.

Two plants in a 2x2 can be done for sure. I've done more then 2, 3 is pushing it. I made my 2x2 into a 2x4 recently to fit more plants. But i build my own tents
Im running 2 in a 2x4 and its getting a bit tight in there. Before i.flipped i.was thinking of trying 3 but this strain.has turned out quite bushy. Its an old strain of cheese that has been passed on after several clones apparently. It looked a bit tired and small to begin with but now it is coming on nicely IMO. Just starting out after a 10 year break. Trying different things now to what i did before.

We are about in the same boat. I am now growing for the first time in many years. I was recently diagnosed diabetic and have seen a lot of documentation that cannabis can be very beneficial in the production of insulin.

I have decided on doing 2 Blue Dream Photos on this run. I am going to LST to maximize my limited grow space. I am planning on purchasing a 2nd SF 1000 LED as well. How much light are you running?

I would mainline those and keep them at 8 colas each, will help a lot with air flow and space management in that size of a tent. Airflow is really important in a small tent because they build up RH fast, esp under the canopy.
